This Was In Our Local Newspaper, My Senior Year.
My Name Is LaKea Crittenden. I Am A 5'3 Point Guard And Shooting Guard From Niagara Falls, New York. I Graduted In 2010 From Niagara Falls High School And I Have Really Been Struggling To Find My Comfort Zone In Colleges.
I Think This Will Be A Great Opportunity For Me To Have My Name On The Map And Be The First Girl In My City To Actually Go Somewhere BIG With Basketball. Even Though My Team Had A Bad Record, We Still Managed To Work Hard, Do Our Best, And Have Fun.
I Am Right Handed And Left Handed. I Am Very Quick And Fast, And I Also Managed To Put Up Good Numbers In Points, Steals, Assits, Rebounds, And Blocks. I Am A Great Leader And Listener. My Junior And Senior Year Of Basketball I Made All Western New York Second Team. My Senior Year I Was Named Captain Of Our Team.
I Titled This "This Answer..The Go To" Because On The Court If Something Is Not Running Smoothly, As A Point Guard I Feel I Run The Floor. So On Offense, I Get The Ball Back, Start At The Top Of The Key And Get Things Back On Track. On Defense I Like To Make Sure Everyone Is In Their Spots (Man To Man, 2-3, 3-2 Etc.)So Nothings Easy For The Other Team.
I Am Also Very Competitive But I Still Remain A Great Sport And Always Practice Good Sportsmanship. I Find Myself Playing With The Guys More For A Better Practice And Workout. This Is Just A Few Brief Things About Me. I've Always Been A Believer Of "Seeing Is Believing" So If You Are Reading This I Promise, As A Women's Basketball Player To Prove Myself Even Better Than What I Have Briefly Expalained. All Im Askin For Is A Chance. A Opportunity. I Dont Want To Be Another "Waste Of Talent". I Know My Dreams And Goals. I Want To Accomplish Them And Make My Family And My City Proud.
