SCREAMING FOR VENGENCE

My name is joseph henderson. I am from Saginaw, michigan. I'm a 6 foot gaurd. I was ranked among the top 3 in 3-point shooters in the state my senior year, only trailing a friend , Brad Redford who now plays at Xavier.

Though i've been out of high school for two years now, i've only gotten better. not only am i a great jump shooter, i can also handle the ball and i'm a great passer. I'm an explosive jumper and i love driving to the basket for the finish, no matter who's home at the hoop.

I played varsity basketball for a state championship team (buena vista) in saginaw, michigan. I had the chance to play for a handful of colleges. Central Michiagn, Eastern Michigan and Jackson State were among the big time schools i could've played for. There were also a few JUCO teams interested in my abilities.

I didn't attend either of the schools, one because of my family situation and the other reasons were because of test scores. Not that i wasn't smart enough or anything like that. I only took the ACT once. I just never really thought i'd have the chance to play college ball, at least not D-1, since i wasn't being scouted or anything. I started getting noticed toward the end of my senior year when it was already becoming too late.

Now i have my own family to take care of and im sick of working jobs that i'm not really that into to begin with. I want to do what i love and that is play ball.

I recently joined the NAVY but i'd opt out of that if i had the chance to get away from all the pressures of home and move my son and girlfriend away somewhere to start a new life and be doing something that i love to do at the same time
