Biography:
As a native of the Ivory Coast, Andre fluent in both English and French has had one big dream since he was a kid. That dream was to become a professional basketball player. At 6’5’’ Andre is a big guard with a strong team play attitude. With natural ability to get to the rack, great court vision, and a strong on the ball defender, Andre is an electrifying physical player who can finish with contact. Head Coach of the Texas Legends, Nancy Lieberman was quoted saying "I want to recommend Andre Oupoh for a position on a professional basketball team. He is a gifted lead guard with very good leadership skills. He is physically strong and is able to use that strength to get to the basket and finish. He has good court vision and is able to make his teammates better around him. Andre is a very good shooter from NBA 3-point range. He can defend quicker point guards and has a good understanding of team defense. Andre has the tools to be an effective guard at the professional level.
