In high school I would play for my school where I made it to the all-stars. Out of no where I stopped playing, only because I did not have any support from any of my family members. Not one person in my family showed up to a game. At that time I felt, if I didn't have support from my family, what's the point of playing and being the best I can be, when my family is not here to celebrate any of my "moments" with me? Man oh man was I sooo wrong! As of today I regret giving up my love of basketball. Man I love the game! If I never had the mind set that I had back when I was in school I probably could have exceeded and made it to the WNBA (which has always been my dream). I'm only 22 almost 23 this year so I feel it isn't too late to do what I love and that is play ball! If I can come overseas to play ball that would be great! Even though I might not be playing in the WNBA, I'll be happy as long as I'm playing ball which will turn my dreams into reality.
