Higher, Wider Rim and Larger Ball?

Here is an anaymous post from one of our readers. Do you agree or disagree?

Yes, it is long past time to raise the basket. But in doing so, the rim circumference and basketball
circumference should also be increase by some proportion. I believe this will bring the game back to a more fundamental style requiring more basic basketball skills.

Palming, carrying the ball on dribbles will be more difficult and what are now routine dunks will not be. Pure shooters will adjust more easily to the increased rim size and height. Hope to see a new league some day. How about something like the "Big Ball Basketball League"
