Have you ever dreamed of playing basketball in another country? I used to dream about this all the time. I ended up playing University ball at a Canadian school in a U.S. Conference so we travelled to the States for almost all of our road games. Talk about a great experience.

We played in such places as Bellingham and Seattle, Washington; Lewiston, Idaho; Sitka and Juneau, Alaska. We even went to Hawaii twice for training camps and games. We also had one special trip to Australia, New Zealnd and Fiji in 1986. I even got to travel to Kenya and Sudan in 1988 with a touring team. Those truly were some of the most fun and memorable times of my life.
