NOTES: A very fast and quick guard. Can handle the ball very as well as see the floor. He can drive to the basket and finish as well as shoot the ball very well (45% from 3pt. range). His range is unlimited, shoots free throws extremely well (shot 91% this past season). Also a good defender, good at getting into passing lanes and has very quick hands. He is a very good scorer, but unselfish as well.

2007-2008 Brockport University
Senior season led the team in scoring, assists and steals. Brockport was ECAC champions and he was awarded MVP of the ECAC tourney. Sherod averaged 17.5 ppg and 4.5 assists, while receiving first team all-conference honors, first team all-east region, third team all-American, all-tournament team in the Sunyac Championships. He finished runner up for player of the year in the conference.

2006-2007 Brockport University
Junior year he lead his team in scoring and assists averaging 17.1 ppg and 4 assists, led the team to the elite eight in the NCAA national tournament, was first team all-conference, first team all-east region, NCAA national all-tournament team, second team all-American, runner up to conference player of the year, Sunyac conference championships all-tournament team, and Brockport male athlete of the year.

2004-2006 Monroe Community College

During his two years at MCC, he started point guard/ shooting guard and averaged 15 ppg, 5 apg, and 4 rpg per game. He also led team to two conference titles and two regional titles, and was able to score as well as distribute the ball on a team full of scorers. Was back to back first team all-conference, and one-time tournament MVP.
