My name is Micheal W. Boyd, Mike for short. I have been playing the game of basketball since I was seven years old, it is my life. I come from virtually nothing and I do not have much; however, I do have the talent, the heart, and the love for basketball to play it non stop.

One mistake that I have made in the past but will not make again, was not taking advantage of the opportunities that were placed in front of me when I had the chance. I did not attend the colleges/universities that would have given me the recognition I needed to proceed to the next level. Because of that, I have had time to grow and to develop into much more than just a player, but as others would put it, a star athlete, who has what it takes to play with the best, as one of the best.
